Alsuwailem's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

24-year old center Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-C-1998) put on an amazing game in the last round for Al Hilal and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had a double-double of 12 points and 17 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Al Bashaer (#8, 0-5) with 55-point margin 103-48. Al Hilal maintains the 3rd position in West Asia Super League . They are still close to the very top. Al Hilal would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 4-1 record. Alsuwailem has many years of experience at Al Hilal, through which he has constantly improved. Alsuwailem has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 15.0rpg) and averages solid 1.4bpg and 78.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Salah Mejri (217-C-1986) of Kazma. He is Tunisian center in his first season at Kazma. In the last game Mejri recorded impressive double-double of 19 points and 17 rebounds. Of course Kazma cruised to a 98-86 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Shabab Al Ahli (#2, 4-1). This victory allowed Kazma to move up to 5th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 2-3 record. Mejri is one of the most experienced players at Kazma and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Edgar Sosa (190-F-1988) of Al Naft (#6). Sosa got into 30-points club by scoring 46 points in the last round. He went also for seven assists. Despite Sosa's great performance Al Naft lost 98-107 to slightly higher-ranked Al Riyadi (#4, 3-2). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Al Naft ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 3 games, recording just two victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Sosa could help Al Naft to bring them higher in the standings. Sosa has a great season in West Asia Super League. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.4ppg (best scorer) and assists with 6.4apg (5th best).
